Executive Team

Following 11 years in the aerospace industry supplying aircraft interiors, Richard joined the Sigma team as CEO in July 2020. Richard has also held senior positions with various industrial and manufacturing businesses and holds a PhD in Engineering Materials from the University of Strathclyde.

Tom joined the Sigma team as Group Finance Manager in February 2017 and was promoted to CFO in March 2021. Prior to joining Sigma, Tom spent his early career in professional practice before working in a large US precision engineering corporate.

Mark has been in the aerospace industry for 36 years, having joined the Sigma team in 2012 and has held various senior operational and commercial positions at Sigma, PFW, RSM Aerospace and BAE Systems. Mark served his apprenticeship at BAE Systems and holds a Degree in Business Studies and is also a keen golfer.

Jack joined the Sigma team at C&H in June 1989 and progressed to Foreman in 1999, Factory Supervisor in 2002 and then General Manager in 2004.  Jack has over 32 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in the aerospace sector, as well as being a long-time supporter of Nottingham Forest football club.

Wayne has been with Sigma since 2008 and spent 12 years managing HR, administration and legal before becoming Executive Director in 2020.  Prior to Sigma, Wayne managed businesses in the electronics and software sectors.  With a BA from Harbin Institution of Technology, Wayne is also an active scholar in historical geopolitics and political philosophy.
